Upcoming Events Week 5, 2007
Dr. Charles Windish, Director of the English Studies Program, will conduct a Workshop on Resume Writing and Interview Tips in the Seminar Room on Tuesday, January 30, from 2:30 to 5:30 PM. All MUIC students are invited to attend.
Job Fair and Education Fair
MUIC will sponsor its annual Job Fair on Thursday, February 1, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM on the ground floor of Building 1.
The following day, Friday, February 2, the college will hold its Education Fair at the same venue from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Representatives from both national and international universities will participate.

Research Seminar
MUIC’s Office of Planning, Research and Development conducted a seminar on the college’s current research projects on January 19 in the Seminar Room.
Members of the faculty and staff presented overviews of their projects, ranging from science, business, education and social issues to student achievements, cross cultural experiences and motivational models.

French Film Festival 2007
The French Film Festival is currently taking place at MUIC Auditorium. There will be one movie every day at 5pm until Thursday, 25th. Admission is free and all flicks will be subtitled in English language.

World University Rankings
MUIC, in collaboration with Mahidol University’s Faculty of Graduate Studies, the College of Management and Office of International Relations, sponsored a Seminar on World University Rankings on January 15 in the college auditorium.
Mr. Ben Sowter, Chief Researcher and Data Analyst for the Times Higher Education publication, addressed approximately 250 participants, representing universities throughout Thailand, explaining the relevance of the rankings and the criteria used in determining such rankings.

Next Intensive English Program (IEP) starts in April 2007
The IEP program develops the skills of listening comprehension, grammar & sentence structures, reading comprehension, as well as academic writing to prepare students for the Mahidol University International College Entrance Examination, as well as the TOEFL Examination.
