Tea and Talk

Tea & TalkThe Office of Planning, Research and Development sponsored another “Tea and Talk” session on September 26 at the Salaya Pavilion Hotel. Ajarns John McNulty, Phillip Stiens, Jonathan Green and Veera Bhatiasevi, as well as Assistant Professor Eugene Jones, spoke about their experiences in Korea, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, England and the United States, respectively.

MUIC Cycling Club

MUIC Cycling ClubEarlier, on September 21, the MUIC Cycling Club showed up in force to support the Bangkok Car Free Day. Ten members, including Ajarn Laird Allan and executive staff member Ms. Somluck Lunsucheep, joined over 300 other cyclists for a Sunday-morning circuit in the Phutthamonthon-Don Wai area. Having fun while making new friends and seeing new sights is the essence of cycle touring for these club members; on this occasion both objectives were met.

 2008-09 AcademicYearMUIC marked the beginning of the new academic year by welcoming 356 full-time and 62 visiting and exchange students at two separate orientation sessions on September 18. Both groups represent the largest intake of students to date.
