The MUIC student chapter of Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE), a global non-profit organization that works in partnership with business and higher education, sponsored an exhibition, "Banglen Banana," on June 4 on the ground floor of Building 1. The event, under the direction of Advisor Chairawee Anamthawat, featured the making of interesting products from dried banana leaves by two ajarns from Pattani Technical College and women from the Banglen-Narapirom community. Participants had an opportunity to buy T-shirts that were designed by the SIFE students in order to raise funds for this project.
