Teambuilding in Kanchanaburi
The MUIC Student Association, in collaboration with the Office of Student Affairs, conducted a Welcoming Camp for third-trimester freshmen on May 20-21 at the Mahidol University Kanchanaburi Campus. This activity is part of the orientation process and a key component of the Freshman Seminar, a requirement for all MUIC students.
One hundred and twenty freshmen, accompanied by 160 upper class students, alumni, faculty and staff, participated in the weekend, whose purpose was to generate a sense of school spirit among the recent arrivals. There were a variety of activities which were meant to promote communication, team-building and disciplinary skills in order to create a sense of community and common purpose.
