Soccer Competition
Picture: The faculty/staff team's bench during the match.
On November 16, MUIC hosted the President’s Cup Competition, a soccer match between faculty-staff, managed by Ajarn Michael Naglis, and MUIC students-alumni, managed by Ajarn Phillip Stiens.
The student-alumni team battled its way to a 1:0 victory, outrunning and outpacing the less fit faculty-staff contingent. In fairness, however, it should be noted that some of the alumni players were not exactly in prime physical condition either.
After the match players and spectators alike went to the Princess Garden for the MUIC Carnival, which offered a variety of food stalls, live music and entertainment, games and an open-air cinema, featuring the film Seasons Change, starring Ajarn Alexander Korff.
