Wai Kru
On Thursday, October 4, MUIC held the annual Wai Kru Ceremony, presided over by Professor Chariya Brockelman, Director of MUIC, and Associate Professor Passiri Nisalak, Mahidol University Vice President for Coordination and University Council Secretary. This tradition honors teachers and promotes a more meaningful student-teacher relationship.
After student representatives paid their respects by offering traditional Thai floral arrangements, certificates were presented to students who achieved academic excellence, scholarship recipients and members of the Student Association for their contributions to the college.
Welcoming Unity Camp
On the weekend of October 6-7, new students attended the Welcoming Unity Camp at Baan Phu Waan, the Pastoral Training Center of Bangkok’s Catholic Archdiocese. The purpose of the weekend was to introduce participants to the social dimensions of the college and to provide an opportunity for interaction with other MUIC students.
